In spring 2021 Teva launched TevaForever, an initiative encouraging people to send in their old sandals to be recycled into running tracks, playgrounds, and more. To help spread the word we created a painterly video collage showing the vibrant life-cycle of a pair of sandals in the natural world and beyond.

For Teva's website we created a moving spot illustration to visualize step-by-step how the recycling process works.

  1. SAY YOUR GOODBYES: To give your well-loved sandals a worthy send-off, put them in a reused cardboard box, print your free shipping label, and mail them in to be deconstructed and reborn.

  2. THE TRANSFORMATION BEGINS: We’ve partnered with industry leader TerraCycle® that specializes in recycling the hard-to-recycle. Together we’ll give new life to your ready-to-retire sandals, by turning them into running tracks, playgrounds, and more.

  3. COMPLETING THE CIRCLE: Our vision is to create new sandals from old ones, closing the circle of production. Every pair you send in helps us get closer to our ultimate goal, and with enough research and development we’ll work to eventually close the loop.
